We believe in students’ capability to propose effective policies and vibrant debates.
Policy Chats Network, drawing from the expansion of video-conferencing during the Covid-19 pandemic, is an initiative set up by students from Bocconi, Sciences Po, Hertie School in early March 2021 to create a global network for students across the world to exchange on local, national and international policies and politics by means of cross-disciplinary dialogues.
Policy Chats Network aims at empowering students and young professionals by creating a unique platform for them, to make them capable of to speaking up their mind and elaborate on current issues. Diversity of backgrounds and experiences remains at the core of the project.
What we do
We organise multiple events and projects, from inviting guest speakers to address the audience to competitions of policy proposals, either on our own or along with our partners.
Aware of the cons of online webinars, notably “Zoom fatigue”, we aim at providing new formats of events.
Information is key to today’s world and to address current challenges. Policy Chats wants to create an awareness-raising platform through our activities.
Despite an era dominated by IT technologies, distances still prevent students from meeting. By means of interactive online events, we aim at over-passing borders and frontiers to enable debates.
Gathered, we discuss and think about today’s and tomorrow’s public policies.
What we are achieving
From its inception to date, Policy Chats Network has succeeded in forming a community of students and professionals from various backgrounds and institutions all over the world interested in discussing about their discipline, today’s challenges. Federating student and youth associations in this collective journey, we are arranging various insightful and vibrant discussions.
